Review: Continental Showcases an Impressive Array of Digital Prints and Color Innovations at Heimtextil
The exhibits showcased by Continental’s surface specialists brought creative interactivity and new color schemes to Heimtextil, the international trade show for home and contract textiles in Frankfurt am Main. From January 8 to 11, 2019, the industry audience got to experience numerous new products and the new online tool: the skai® Design Lab offering contemporary, custom digital print surface design for the hospitality sector.
With their practical and customer-centric exhibits, Continental’s surface specialists gave visitors to this year’s Heimtextil some fascinating insight into the present and future of the new dimension of creative surface design with digital printing. The skai® Design Lab configurator gave trade show visitors the chance to be designers themselves – and they were impressed by the possibilities offered by custom digitally printed surface design. The skai® Design Lab allows customers to configure surface designs that are custom-adapted to their projects – with regard to design, color, embossing, size, repeat and material. Continental’s skai® Design Lab is setting new benchmarks for customized design and digital printing.
The new skai® Topana FLS and skai® Torino FLS upholstery fabrics designed for the hospitality sector gave the Continental trade show stand a beautiful new color scheme. The skai® Torino FLS fabric with its modern chevron pattern reflects the latest trend in textiles and impressed trade show visitors – as did its matching color counterpart, skai® Topana FLS, with its pleasantly soft texture and trendy harmonious color nuances.
At Heimtextil 2019, Continental placed clear emphasis on the color and design aspects of modern surface design to cater to today’s and tomorrow’s exacting interior requirements for the residential and contract sectors.
