Sustainability on Board – Continental at the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo 2024
Sun and sea – there’s never enough of these on board a cruise ship. But for the perfect vacation feeling, it’s not just the weather that needs to be right, but also the ambience, i.e. the interior. The high-quality materials from skai® are the ideal design choice here, which is why Continental is taking part in the “Innovation Lounges Community“ at the CSIE Miami on June 6 and 7, 2024 to present its latest, most sustainable products for the cruise sector.

On June 6 and 7, 2024, Continental will therefore be presenting its extensive product range at the CSIE Miami as part of the “Innovation Lounges Community“ on booth 647, under the motto “Sustainability starts at the surface.”
The focus of the trade fair presentation will be on the latest and most sustainable materials in the portfolio: skai® Evida Fiber and skai® VyP Coffee. Both materials are characterized by the use of renewable and bio-based raw materials, which significantly minimize the use of conventional chemical components. The innovative staynu® technology will also be presented. This is a special surface finish that makes the material extremely robust and resistant to soiling.
Since last fall, Continental has been part of the B2B “Innovation Lounges” network, which aims to bring together various manufacturers in the hotel, resort, and cruise industry under one roof. The port city of Hamburg also has a joint concept showroom that acts as an exhibition space for all collaboration partners – here as well, Continental is presenting a selection of its extensive product portfolio under the motto “Sustainability starts at the surface”.
